Du kan använda dig av virvlar när du ska tömma en flaska. På grund av det undertryck som bildas i flaskan är det svårt att hälla ut innehållet även om du håller flaskan upp och ner.
Genom att skaka och snurra på flaskan skapas en virvel. När luften släpps igenom virvelns mitt kan samtidigt vattnet rinna ut.
Håll flaskorna upprätta och få vattnet att rinna snabbt mellan flaskorna.
Hur gör du för att det ska gå så snabbt som möjligt?
Lösning:
Snurra flaskorna så att en vattenvirvel bildas i den övre flaskan med vatten. I virveln skapas ett ”rör” där luften från den nedre flaskan kan passera upp igenom när vattnet rinner ned. Detta krävs för att frigöra utrymme för vattnet i den nedre flaskan.

Try to get the water run as fast as possible between the bottles!
You can use vortexes when emptying a bottle. Because of the pressure created in the bottle it is difficult to empty it, even if you hold it upside down.
By shaking and and spinning the bottle a vortex is created. When the air is let through the middle of the vortex the water can run through. Hold the bottles upright and get the water to run quickly between the bottles.
What should you do to get the water running as quick as possible?
Solution:
Spin the bottles to create a vortex in the top bottle. A “tube” will be created in the vortex so that the air from the bottom bottle can travel upwards at the same time as the water is running downwards. This is necessary in order to create space for the water in the bottom bottle.
